YARN REVIEW: Hobbii Baby Cotton

Cotton is an excellent fiber for baby clothes and blankets. It's soft, durable and machine washable! This Baby Cotton by Hobbii is an excellent choice, as it's 100% organic Egyptian cotton- yes, organic! This is a super fine weight yarn but I used 3 strands to achieve a more worsted-weight look (See first photo). I bought one of Hobbii's color packs, that option gets you a lot of yardage in different colors at a reasonable price. It also comes in a printed or variegated option, so there's a lot to choose from! That's my favorite part about this sustainable option, it comes in a huge variety of colors that ranges beyond your traditional baby pink and blue. Another plus is the organic label is backed up by the yarn's GOTS certification, meaning it meets the Global Organic Textile Standard. You can read more about that standard here!

Generally, I can say I'd totally buy this stuff again. In fact, it might become part of my regular stash rotation, even in my non-baby projects. It's not super prone to splitting, and it's versatile while still being soft and pleasing to the touch. Check it out for yourself!
